General Terms and Conditions – Asteroid Assistance

These General Terms and Conditions regulate the relationship between the user (hereinafter, 'the Beneficiary') and the company Asteroid LLC (hereinafter, 'ASTEROID ASSISTANCE'), a provider of travel assistance services. Asteroid Assistance is not an insurance company, but a provider of services designed to provide support for unforeseen events during the trip.

2. Subject of the contract

The purpose of this contract is to regulate the terms and conditions under which Asteroid Assistance will provide travel assistance services. The services offered, their limits, and conditions are specified in the electronic documentation sent to the beneficiary after the purchase.

3. Nature of the service

The services offered by Asteroid Assistance do not constitute medical or travel insurance. They are immediate assistance benefits, provided through a network of providers and professionals.

4. Contracting process and payment methods

The user selects the desired assistance plan on the web platform. Payment is made online via PayPal, or by credit and debit card. Once the payment is approved, the beneficiary will receive the certificate of assistance, the details of the contracted plan, and its conditions by email.

5. Entry into force and duration

The assistance comes into effect once the payment is confirmed and from the date indicated as the start of the trip, as long as it is within the contracted coverage period.

6. Right of withdrawal and cancellations

The beneficiary may request the cancellation of the plan before the start date of the trip. Once the coverage period has started, no cancellations will be accepted except for exceptions defined in the refund policy.

7. Obligations of the beneficiary

It is the responsibility of the beneficiary to provide truthful information during the purchase process and to act in accordance with the assistance instructions in case help is required during the trip.

8. Intellectual property and website use

All contents of the website, including text, graphics, logos, designs, and software are the property of Asteroid Assistance. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9. Personal data protection

The data provided by the beneficiary will be processed in accordance with the Asteroid Assistance Privacy Policy, available on the website. By contracting, the beneficiary accepts the processing of their data for operational and contractual purposes.

10. Applicable jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by the legislation of the country of incorporation of Asteroid Assistance. In the event of a dispute, the parties will submit to the competent courts of the tax residence of the company.
